The New Life Dream Centers are non-profit, Christ-centered 18-month residential programs for men and women seeking freedom from addictive and dysfunctional lifestyles. Every day at NLDC is a day of miracles… A destructive habit is broken. A deadly disease is healed. A former prostitute becomes a mother. Past hurts are forgiven. Lost hope is found. That’s what New Life is all about: Restoration and new beginnings by the power of Jesus Christ.
At NLDC, our focus is on inner healing: spirit, soul, body and relationships. Until the heart of an individual changes, his or her condition cannot change. That’s why each student receives individual counseling with a seasoned pastor and one-on-one prayer. But it’s a tough program. New Life students follow a strict daily schedule and rules which help to instill discipline. Each day includes biblical counseling, Bible training courses and assigned work responsibilities. Students also attend quarterly conferences which include topics like marriage restoration, inner healing and single parenting. They can even earn their GED.
In the twelfth month, students enter working stage which allows for gradual re-entry into the mainstream with close supervision. Upon program completion, NLDC students take with them money saved, skills learned and the training to be better mothers, fathers, wives, husbands, employees and better contributors to their communities. After a year of drug-free living, NLDC alumni are honored at a graduation ceremony where they receive a diploma and, with it, a renewed sense of accomplishment and self-worth. Every man and woman who completes the NLDC program discovers for themselves that… With God all things are possible. —Matt. 19:26
